​Hi, I am Andrea Schiavio. I am Senior lecturer (aka Associate Professor) at the University of York (UK), and past president of ESCOM - the European Society for the Cognitive Sciences of Music.

I want to know what music cognition is and how it works. To do so I combine empirical and theoretical research inspired by recent approaches in the cognitive sciences. ​For any question, or good idea, please contact me!
